About the Workshop
Morning: Learn the art of lino printing on fabric with printmaker Lizzie Ault. Choose your design, carve your block, and print your fabric.
Lunch: Enjoy a locally sourced lunch provided by Mandy from Sneaky Veg Kitchen in the scenic setting of Ely Museum.
Afternoon: Guided by a Katherine Scantlebury, a professional lampshade maker, you'll transform your fabric into a finished, functional lampshade.

Meet the Makers
Lizzie Ault
Lizzie is an experienced printmaker and educator having run a wide range of printmaking and creative workshops with diverse groups. She is well known for her love of narrative in art and will help you to tell your story through design and print. Lizzie will ensure you leave the workshop with the skills and confidence to continue your printmaking journey.
Katherine Scantlebury
Katherine has been selling at Ely market for more than a decade and she is a favourite with regulars for her colourful lampshades at her stall “Bright and Beautiful by Katherine. Katherine is a skilled artisan known for her eye for colour, attention to detail and friendly manner. She will guide you through the process of lampshade making with patience and care.
